Information about Heterophobia
Heterophobia is a neologism coined in the 1980s, first appearing in print in 1990, used in analogy to homophobia. It does not have much currency outside the field of sexology, and limited use even within that field. There are examples. Some, but not all feminists believe that all heterosexual relationships involve the oppression of the woman. However, there are examples of egalitarian heterosexual relationships that prove invalid this theory.
