Information about Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Not only was it a good fighting game for a system that had few, it was also good by any other standards. The game featured an innovative combat system that encourages quick fighting and is easy enough for anyone to pick up due to it's low level of combos, low learning curve, and recognizable characters. All the main Nintendo characters (Mario, Samus Aran, Fox McCloud, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Pikachu, Link, Luigi, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, and Ness) gather together for a melee battle. Super Smash Bros. was followed up with a sequel in 2001, Super Smash Bros. Melee, for the Nintendo GameCube. It kept the same great gameplay, and made it better-looking with the extra power of the GameCube. It also added Trophies which were collectable and are considered as a Nintendo Museum of sorts. SSBM also added several new characters, most of which are somewhat obscure to mainstream gamers but familiar to all true Nintendo fans. HAL Laboratory also recorded a concert featuring Super Smash Bros. Melee, which, in turn, featured music from many Nintendo concerts. Subscribers to the magazine Nintendo Power recieved an album with the music for free. The list of songs in the album is listed below... 1. Planet Corneria 2. Jungle Garden 3. Great Bay Shrine 4. Dr. Mario 5. Original Medley 6. Fountain of Dreams 7. Pokemon Medley 8. Opening Music 9. Planet Venom 10. Yoshi's Story 11. Depth of Brinstar 12. Smash Bros. Great Medley 13. Fire Emblem 14. Green Greens 15. Rainbow Cruise
